What is the Girl Scout Gold Award?
The Gold Award is the highest honor a Girl Scout can earn. To earn it, a Senior or Ambassador Girl Scout identifies a problem in her community, designs a sustainable solution, and leads a team to make lasting change. Organization Matters is my Gold Award project. Its mission is to help students build organization habits that follow them through middle school, high school, and beyond.
Staying organized in school is hard
Staying organized in life is hard, especially when you are in high school. This website offers many opportunities to improve your organization in the short and long term, as well as provide the resources to start your own Organization Matters club. What is the Award Section: The Gold Award is the highest honor a Girl Scout can receive. As a high school student in the Senior or Ambassador level, a Girl Scout can identify an issue and its root cause, and design a sustainable solution. A Gold Award requires a Silver Award or Journeys to be able to apply for the Gold Award, so it is highly respected. Staying organized is hard section: With the combination of tests, homework, sports, afterschool activities, and family, being overwhelmed is natural. By keeping your organization in check throughout all of these responsibilities, you can be successful in all of them.
My Goal
To create a happier environment for students in which they feel more prepared and excited to learn about new things. As students grow over time, they can realize what it means to try hard work. Additionally, students would be able to stay organized and easily keep at pace without stressing too much about deadlines. Teachers would also be able to communicate better with their students to facilitate stronger classroom relationships.
A little about me

Hi! My name is Daphné Rottenberg, and I have been a Girl Scout for 7 years. As someone who thoroughly enjoys staying organized and has noticed the difficulties my peers experience at school, I decided to focus my Gold Award on organizational skills.
